The School of Social Marketing began in August 2008. Dr. Ron Capps, aka the Nicheprof, called in from the Black Bear Lodge in Helen, Georgia. He was on the sun deck during the lunch break in a Mark Hendricks Internet Marketing Retreat. Following the initial call, we decided we would do a show every Sunday for a while.

On April 1st, 2012, we did our 200th episode.

As of 21 July 2012, more than 152,250 people have listened to 200+ shows. Our profile has be viewed 117,443 times. We have 273 fans/followers.

On April 6th, 2011, BlogTalkRadio announced another round of changes to the user interface, so I thought it would be a good time to revise my website and ebook.

Since I introduced BlogTalkRadioMadeEasy in 2009, there have been several design changes, which were relatively easy to modify in the ebook. But this time, the changes were significant enough to prompt me to just start over.

I wrote the ebook at the urging of several people because they thought it would be beneficial for people who wanted to have their own show to find some advice in one location.

Of course, you can go to BlogTalkRadio.com and check out their tutorials and the FAQ section, but after doing more than 1000 episodes, I felt I have some insights and suggestion that are not reflected in the tutorials. The revised ebook should be online soon. I’ve decided to incorporate a section on Cinchcast, a very useful application from BlogTalkRadio, that enables you to record interviews for later use during a show.
